Long Branch COVID 19 Resources

Caring During Coronavirus

If you think your neighbors are in need of help, such as buying groceries or picking up medicine/prescriptions, please reach out to them or let us know and we can have someone get in touch with them.

We've already had one request for assistance and we were able to provide support for grocery shopping for one of our neighbors. We plan to continue to make these connections as social distancing measures remain in place. We are offering this help to those who are at the highest risk (older residents and those with underlying medical conditions, as well as essential personnel). Here's how it works:
Send us an email with your request (grocery, medication, etc.). We will connect you via email with your volunteer. Provide your volunteer with your list of needs. The volunteer will pay for the item upfront (if needed) and report back to you with the cost. Items will be left on your doorstep to avoid contact. You will leave a check in your mailbox or you may send online payment via other means (Venmo, Paypal, etc) If you are willing to volunteer, please let us know as well and we will add you to our list.
