How To Report A Street Light Outage

Click this   https://www.dom.com/  which is the Dominion Virginia Power Website, scroll to the bottom of the DVP home page.  Click on “Outages” under the “Safety” heading, which will open to the “Storm Center” page.  Click on “Report Street Light Outages”, which will have all of the info regarding how and where to report a street light outage. Or click this:
https://www.dominionenergy.com/outages/streetlight-outages

To make is really simple, dial 866-366-4357 (866-DOM-HELP) to give a verbal report to a live service rep.  Collect the street address nearest the street light, and the number of the light so that it is available when you call.  The light number is located on the pole and is usually two short strings of numbers and letters (C515 OB93 for example.)

There is also a web page on the Fairfax County Website which has the same information and also an interactive map which is somewhat helpful in finding the street address.  It usually takes a week to 10 days for DVP to respond, but much longer if you report it after a major storm with lots of outages.
